What's Included with a Vacation Rental Cleaning?

General Areas (Living Room, Hallways, Entryway)

• Dust and wipe all furniture, décor, and light fixtures

• Clean TV screens and remotes

• Vacuum rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture

• Mop floors

• Check for stains, trash, or personal belongings

• Arrange furniture neatly

• Wipe down doors and handles

• Remove any visible dust or cobwebs

Kitchen

• Clean countertops, backsplash, and cabinet exteriors

• Wash dishes or load dishwasher

• Clean sink

• Wipe down appliances (fridge, microwave, oven, etc.)

• Empty and clean inside of refrigerator if needed

• Take out trash and replace liner

• Mop floors

• Refill essentials (paper towels, dish soap, etc.)

Bathrooms

• Clean and disinfect toilet, tub, and shower

• Wipe mirrors and counters

• Clean sink 

• Replace used towels with clean ones

• Refill soap, shampoo, and toilet paper

• Empty trash and replace liner

• Mop floors and ensure all surfaces sparkle

Bedrooms

• Strip beds and replace with fresh linens

• Make beds neatly

• Dust all surfaces, including furniture and lamps

• Wipe mirrors and glass surfaces

• Vacuum or mop floors

• Empty trash bins and replace liners

• Check under beds and furniture for left-behind items

Laundry Room

• Wipe down washer and dryer (outside)

• Empty lint trap in dryer

• Check under and behind appliances for dust or debris

• Sweep and mop floors

• Wipe down shelves, cabinets, and countertops

• Organize laundry supplies neatly (detergent, softener, etc.)

• Wash and dry used linens and towels (if applicable)

• Fold and store clean linens properly or place where specified

• Ensure no personal items are left behind

• Make sure lights and water are functioning properly

 Note: Please ensure proper access is provided before your appointment (key, code, or lockbox). Cleaning necessities such as toilet tissue, soap, and detergent must be supplied by the client — we will restock what’s already on site and notify you when items need replenishing. Any damages or maintenance issues will be reported immediately.
